Literature

In what spare time that I do have I like to write. A lot. I had intended to post a different writing of mine but I seem to have misplaced the notebook. Anyways, I noticed A lot of people had posted excerpts from some of their favorite books or poems so I really hope that I don't miss the point of this post. I write what I know. I write about past experiences and things that I have gone through in my life. It can be dark sometimes and It will never come right out and be straight to the point but those are the best kinds of writings in my opinion; the ones that make you think. The ones where the words haunt you even after you've finished reading them.

"Back when I was a little girl things were so much simpler.  Everything made sense. I never questioned why things happened or what they meant in the grand scheme of things. Honestly, I was happier. Who isn't though when they're five years old and have everything going for them? That would all change for me though by the time my next birthday came around. My life would forever be changed. I will never for the life of me be able to understand why it happened. I probably never will. Most of it I've managed to black out but somethings I'll never be able to forget.
